Play Ludo online with family and friends
Ludo is the board game almost everyone learned as a child, in family homes from Dubai and Riyadh to Delhi and Mumbai. On Rayoosh it comes to life in 3D: four colours, a roll of the dice and the joy of sending a cousin's token back to base. Play with two, three or four players, or as partners in Team Ludo.
- 2–4 players
- 2 vs 2 teams
- 8+ min a match
- Free · no download
- Plays offline once installed
Starting a game takes seconds. Send one link to the family group and everyone sits down on their own phone, laptop or TV. Chat, talk and react with emotes while you play. Short on time? Quick matches use just two tokens each, and Rayan can teach young players the rules first.
How to play Ludo
- Each player takes a colour: red, green, yellow or blue. Your tokens start in your base.
- Roll the dice on your turn. A token can only leave base when you roll a 6.
- Move one token forward by the number you rolled, around the board toward your home column.
- A 6 gives you another roll. Roll three 6s in a row, though, and you lose the turn.
- Land exactly on a lone rival token to capture it: it goes back to its base and you roll again.
- Bring a token home with the exact number and you roll again too.
- Get all your tokens home first to win. The others keep playing for second and third place.
Ludo rules at a glance
- Players: 2, 3 or 4, or 2 vs 2 Team Ludo.
- Tokens: 2 each in Quick, 4 each in Full.
- A 6 brings a token out. A 6, a capture or a token reaching home each give another roll.
- Three 6s in a row end your turn.
- Star squares are safe: no captures there. Two tokens on the same square can't be captured either.
- You need the exact number to reach home. If a token can't move, move another one.
- Team Ludo: red partners yellow and green partners blue, sitting across. When your tokens are all home you move your partner's, and the team wins when both partners are home.
Ludo modes in Rayoosh
- Classic: roll a 6 to come out, capture rivals.
- Quick (2 tokens): about 8 minutes.
- Full (4 tokens): about 18 minutes.
- Players: 4, 2 or 3 on your own, or 2 vs 2 as Team Ludo.
Tips to win at Ludo
- Bring several tokens out early, so every roll gives you a choice.
- Rest on star squares when a rival is close behind you.
- Count before you move: a token one to six squares ahead of a rival is in danger.
- Capture whenever it's safe. It costs your rival a whole lap and gives you another roll.
- Don't rush a single token home while the rest sit in base; spread the risk.
- In Team Ludo, keep your partner's path clear, and remember you'll move their tokens once yours are home.
Play Ludo with family and friends
Ludo is at its best with people you know. Create a room, share the link on WhatsApp or show the QR code, and start when everyone is seated. Grandparents, parents and children can all play on their own screens, in English, Arabic or Hindi.
- Quick phrases like Good luck, Oops and Again? keep the table lively.
- Emotes and animated gifts for every capture and comeback.
- Voice chat for seated players, with your mic on or off as you prefer.
- Practice against computer players, and once Rayoosh is installed, play them offline too.
