Play Solitaire online: Solo or a Duel with family
Solitaire, also called Klondike or Patience, is the card game almost everyone has played. Sort a shuffled deck into four piles, Ace to King, by building down in seven columns and turning over hidden cards.
- 1–4 players
- 5+ min a match
- Free · no download
- Plays offline once installed
On Rayoosh you can relax with a Solo game with no time limit, or challenge 2 to 4 family members to a Duel: everyone gets exactly the same deal and five minutes, so only skill decides. Every deal we hand out has been checked by our solver and can be won.
How to play Solitaire
- Goal: move all 52 cards to the four foundations, one pile per suit from Ace up to King.
- In the seven columns, put a card on one that is one rank higher and the other colour: a red 6 on a black 7.
- Move a card with the cards on top of it, or move a whole run at once.
- When you move the last face-up card off a column, the hidden card under it turns face up.
- Only a King can go into an empty column.
- Stuck? Tap the deck to turn over new cards. When it runs out, turn it back over and go again.
- Once every card is face up and the deck is empty, the rest flies home by itself.
Solitaire rules at a glance
- One standard deck of 52 cards.
- Seven columns of 1 to 7 cards, with only the top card face up; the other 24 cards make the deck.
- Columns build down by alternating colour; foundations build up by suit.
- Draw 1: turn one card at a time. Draw 3: turn three, and only the top one can be played.
- Unlimited passes through the deck in both modes.
Solitaire modes in Rayoosh
- Solo: one player, no time limit, with Hint and Undo.
- Duel: 2, 3 or 4 players on the same deal for 5 minutes. The most cards home wins; if several solve it, the fastest wins.
- Draw 1 for a relaxed game, Draw 3 for experts.
- Every deal is checked by a solver, so it can always be won.
Tips to win at Solitaire
- Turn over hidden cards first: the column with the most face-down cards is usually the best one to work on.
- Don't rush cards to the foundations if you still need them to hold lower cards of the other colour.
- Keep an empty column for a King that frees hidden cards, not just any King.
- In Draw 3, think before you play from the deck: it changes which cards come up next time.
- Use the bulb for a hint when you're unsure.

- Quick phrases, emotes and animated gifts for every great move.
- Play Solo offline once Rayoosh is installed.
Questions and answers
Is Solitaire on Rayoosh free?
Yes. Solitaire is free to play, Solo or in a Duel. Pearls are earned by playing and are never bought or cashed out.
Can every deal be won?
Yes. Every deal is checked in advance by our solver, so a winning line always exists. You still need to find it, because hidden cards stay hidden until you turn them over.
What is a Solitaire Duel?
Two to four players get exactly the same deal and five minutes. Whoever gets the most cards home wins; if more than one player solves the deal, the fastest wins.
What's the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?
In Draw 1 you turn one card from the deck at a time, which is relaxed. In Draw 3 you turn three and can only play the top one, which makes the game harder.
Can I play Solitaire offline?
Yes. Install Rayoosh and Solo Solitaire works without internet. Your results sync when you're back online.
