Play Hand Saudi online with friends, free
Hand Saudi is the Gulf's sharper take on Hand, the rummy of long majlis evenings in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and across the Gulf. Collect sets and runs, go down, then race to empty your hand. The twist: the first player opens with 51, and every opening after that has to beat the best one made so far, so waiting too long can lock you out of the round.

Play with 2 to 5 players or as Partner 2 vs 2, let computer players fill the empty seats, and earn Pearls by finishing place; Pearls can never be bought or cashed out. Rayan's short How to play lesson explains the rising bar, the open card and the Hand, and a private table brings your friends in with one link.
How to play Hand Saudi
- Two 52-card decks plus 2 jokers: 106 cards. Everyone gets 14 cards; the player after the dealer gets 15 and plays first, skipping the draw.
- Play goes counter-clockwise: the next player is on your right. On your turn, draw from the deck or take the open card on the discard pile, then discard one card to end your turn.
- Melds are sets (3 or 4 cards of one rank, all different suits) or runs (3 or more in a row of one suit). The ace goes low (A-2-3) or high (Q-K-A), never round the corner.
- Your first lay-down of the round is your opening, and it must reach your bar. The first player to open needs 51; every later opener needs the best opening so far plus 1.
- Take the open card only if you lay it at once: in your opening, in a new meld, or added to a meld on the table.
- Once you are down, lay new melds of any value, add cards to any meld on the table and swap out jokers.
- The round ends the moment someone has no cards left. Lay your whole hand down in one turn without having been down before, and it is a Hand: every score of the round doubles.
- After the last round, the lowest total wins.
Hand Saudi rules and scoring at a glance
- Opening value: 2 to 10 count their number, J, Q and K count 10, an ace 11 (or 1 in A-2-3), and a joker counts the card it stands for.
- The bar climbs: if one player opens with 58, the next needs 59. It resets every round, and only the opening counts towards it, never later melds or added cards.
- Jokers are the only wild cards; 2s are ordinary. Every meld needs at least two real cards.
- Joker swap: once you are down, put the card a joker stands for in its place and take the joker. A 3-card set needs both missing suits at once.
- Going out: −30. Going out with a Hand: −60.
- Cards left in hand count against you: 2 to 10 their number, court cards 10, ace 11, joker 15. Doubled after a Hand.
- Never went down this round: 100 (200 after a Hand).
- If the deck runs out, the discard pile is shuffled in once; if it runs out again, the round ends with no winner.
Hand Saudi in Rayoosh
- Players: 2, 3, 4 or 5, each for themselves, or Partner 2 vs 2 with your partner sitting opposite.
- Partner: only the other team's openings raise your bar. When one partner goes out, the team scores −30 (−60 for a Hand) and the partner's cards don't count; the other team adds up both hands.
- Quick: 1 round, about 8 minutes. Full: 5 rounds, about 35 minutes. Equal team totals play one extra round.
- Pearls by finishing place, up to 35 for a Quick win and 65 for a Full win. Never bought, never cashed out.
- The score box shows your live bar, such as “Open with 64”, and the open card lights up only when you can use it.
- Jokers you can free glow on the table. Works on phones, tablets, computers and TVs with a remote, in Arabic, English and Hindi.
Tips to win at Hand Saudi
- Open as soon as you reach the bar: every opening before yours makes yours harder.
- At a table of 4 or 5, a big opening raises the bar for everyone still waiting.
- Before you are down, keep high cards that can join melds: they help you reach a high bar, and an unopened hand costs 100 anyway.
- Take the open card only when it moves you forward, since you must lay it straight away.
- Once down, throw your highest cards first, but never one the next player could add to a meld on the table.
- In Partner, add your cards to your partner's melds, and when your partner is close to going out, shed your high cards.

Questions and answers
Is Hand Saudi on Rayoosh free? Is there real money?
It is completely free, with no real money and no betting. You earn Pearls by finishing place, and Pearls can never be bought or cashed out.
How is Hand Saudi different from Hand?
In Hand Saudi only the first opener needs 51; every later opening must beat the best one so far. You may take the open card only to lay it at once, you can swap jokers off the table, there are 2 jokers instead of 4, going out scores −30, and a full game is 5 rounds. Rayoosh has both games.
How does the opening bar work?
The first player to open needs 51. After that, each new opener needs the highest opening of the round plus 1: if Ali opens with 58, Badr needs 59; if Badr opens with 63, the next needs 64. The bar resets every round.
When can I take the open card?
Only when you can lay it at once: in your opening (if it reaches your bar), in a new meld, or added to a meld on the table. If you can't, the open card stays locked and you draw from the deck.
What is a Hand in Hand Saudi?
Putting your whole hand down in one turn when you were not down before that turn, without adding to or swapping on another player's melds. Finishing with a discard is allowed. A Hand doubles every score of the round: −60 for you, double points for everyone else.
How does Hand Saudi Partner (2 vs 2) work?
Partners sit opposite. Your partner's opening never raises your bar; the other team's does. When one of you goes out, your team scores −30 and your partner's cards don't count. The lower team total wins; equal totals play one extra round.
