Play Trix online with friends, free
Trix is the great card game of Levant evenings, played from Damascus and Aleppo to Beirut, Amman and Jerusalem, and loved at Gulf card tables too. Four players, one deck and four kingdoms: in each kingdom the owner picks one contract at a time, King of Hearts, Queens, Diamonds, Ltoosh or Trix, until all five are played. Dodge the penalty cards, then race to empty your hand in Trix.

On Rayoosh, Trix is free: no money and no betting. Every match earns Pearls by finishing place, and Pearls can never be bought or cashed out. Rayan's short How to play lesson explains the kingdoms in a few minutes, computer players fill any empty seat, and a private table brings the whole family to one game.
How to play Trix
- Four players, 13 cards each from a 52-card deck. Aces are high, and play passes to the right.
- Whoever holds the 7♥ in the first deal owns the first kingdom. The next kingdoms pass to the right, so everyone owns one.
- The owner looks at the new hand, then picks a contract not played yet in this kingdom. Each kingdom plays all five, one per deal.
- In the trick contracts the owner leads. Follow the led suit if you can; if you can't, play any card. There is no trump, and you never have to beat the card on the table.
- The highest card of the led suit takes the trick, and its winner leads the next one.
- In King of Hearts and Queens, a player holding the K♥ or a queen may double it by showing it before the first lead.
- In Trix there are no tricks: lay cards in rows that start from the jacks, and try to be first to empty your hand.
- After 4 kingdoms and 20 deals, the highest total wins.
Trix contracts and scoring
- King of Hearts: −75 for taking the K♥. The deal ends as soon as it is taken.
- Queens: −25 for each queen. The deal ends when all four are taken.
- Diamonds: −10 for each diamond. The deal ends when all 13 are taken.
- Ltoosh: −15 for each trick you take, over all 13 tricks.
- Trix: each suit's row starts with its jack and grows up to the ace and down to the 2. Lay one card a turn, and you must lay if you can. First out +200, second +150, third +100, last +50.
- Doubling: whoever takes a doubled card loses double, −150 for the K♥ and −50 for a queen. If an opponent takes it, the player who doubled gains +75 or +25.
- Without doubles, every kingdom adds up to 0: −500 in penalties and +500 in Trix.
Trix in Rayoosh
- Players: 4, everyone for themselves, or Partner 2 vs 2 with your partner sitting opposite.
- In Partner the deal and the rules are the same, and both partners' points make one team total. A doubled card taken by your partner pays no bonus.
- One standard game: 4 kingdoms, 20 deals, about 30 minutes.
- Pearls by finishing place: 110, 45, 15 and 5.
- 20 seconds to choose a contract or play a card, 10 seconds to double. If time runs out, the computer moves for you and never doubles.
- Works on phones, tablets, computers and TVs with a remote, in Arabic, English and Hindi.
Tips to win at Trix
- Pick the contract your hand suits best. A hand full of jacks and middle cards is made for Trix; a K♥ guarded by long hearts is made for King of Hearts.
- Double the K♥ only with long hearts or a short side suit: you want to be able to throw it away, never to be forced to take it.
- Duck with the highest card that still loses, and drop penalty cards under someone else's winner, like the K♥ under the A♥.
- Lead your short suits early to make voids. Once you are void, throw your most expensive card first.
- In Trix, hold the card that blocks a long run of other players' cards, and open the runs that are mostly your own.
- In Partner, never throw a penalty card on a trick your partner is winning.

Questions and answers
Is Trix on Rayoosh free? Is there real money?
It is completely free, with no real money and no betting. Matches earn Pearls by finishing place, and Pearls can never be bought or cashed out.
Who starts in Trix?
The player dealt the 7♥ in the first deal owns the first kingdom. The owner picks each contract and leads the first trick, or starts the Trix layout. Each new kingdom passes to the next player on the right.
What is Ltoosh?
Ltoosh is the contract where every trick counts against you: each trick you take costs −15, across all 13 tricks.
How does doubling work in Trix?
In King of Hearts and Queens, a player holding the K♥ or a queen can show it to double it. Whoever takes it loses double (−150 or −50). If an opponent takes it, the player who doubled gains +75 or +25. If you take your own doubled card, nobody gains.
How do you play the Trix contract?
There are no tricks. Each suit has a row that starts with its jack, and a card fits when the card next to it toward the jack is already down: Q, K, A going up, 10 down to 2 going down. You must lay a card if you can, and the first to empty their hand scores +200.
What is Trix Partner?
The same game for 2 vs 2. Partners sit opposite each other, their points add up to one team total, and the higher team total wins.
