Teen Patti, “three cards”, is the card game of India's family gatherings and festival nights, also known as Three Card Brag. Everyone gets three cards, plays Blind or Seen, and the best hand takes the pot.
- 2–5 players
- 6+ min a match
- Free · no download
- Plays offline once installed
On Rayoosh, Teen Patti is played with free table points only: everyone starts each match with the same points, they exist only in that match, and nothing of value is ever bet. The most points after the last hand wins, and Pearls are paid by finishing place. For players aged 18 and over.
How to play Teen Patti
- Everyone puts in the Boot, then gets three cards face down.
- You start Blind. Tap See to look at your cards at any time: a Blind Chaal costs the stake, a Seen Chaal twice the stake.
- On your turn: Chaal to stay in, Raise to double the stake, or Pack to drop out of the hand.
- With two players left, either can ask for a Show: both hands are shown and the better wins. A tie loses for the player who asked.
- A Seen player can ask the player before them, if also Seen, for a Side Show: the weaker hand packs. They may refuse.
- The last player in, or the best hand at the Show, takes the pot.
Teen Patti hand ranking
- Trail (three of a kind): the highest hand. Three aces beat everything.
- Pure Sequence: three in a row of one suit, like 5♥ 6♥ 7♥.
- Sequence: three in a row. A-K-Q is the highest, then A-2-3, then K-Q-J down to 4-3-2.
- Colour: three cards of one suit, compared card by card.
- Pair, then High Card.
- Suits never rank: two equal hands tie.
Teen Patti in Rayoosh
- Free table points: everyone starts each match with 1,000. They are never Pearls or Sapphires and disappear when the match ends.
- Players: 2 to 5. Quick: 5 hands. Full: 10 hands.
- The stake has a cap, and when the pot reaches its limit every hand is shown.
- Every move button shows exactly what it costs, and your hand is named for you (Pair, Colour, Sequence...).
- For adults (18+). Works on phones, tablets, computers and TVs with a remote.
Tips to win at Teen Patti
- Playing Blind costs half: it keeps you in cheaply while the stake is low.
- Pack a weak High Card early rather than paying to see the end.
- With a middling hand, a Side Show can remove one rival without a full Show.
- Only ask for a Show with a hand you trust: a tie goes against you.
- Watch who switches from Blind to Seen, and how they bet after.
