Play Kasra online with friends, free
Kasra is the mix-and-match game of the Trix family, played across Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine and at Levantine tables in the Gulf. Each player owns a kingdom and picks the order of four contracts: a Complex full of penalties, a Tarneeb where tricks score, a fight over the last two tricks, and the Trix race to empty your hand.

On Rayoosh, Kasra is free, with no money and no betting. A match is 16 deals, about 27 minutes, and Pearls are paid by finishing place; they can never be bought or cashed out. Rayan's short How to play lesson walks you through all four contracts, computer players fill any empty seat, and a private table brings your friends in with one link.
How to play Kasra
- Four players get 13 cards each from a 52-card deck. Aces are high, and play goes counter-clockwise, to the right.
- The player dealt the 7♥ owns the first kingdom. Each later kingdom goes to the next player, so everyone owns one.
- In each deal the owner looks at the new hand and picks one of the kingdom's contracts not played yet. Each of the four is played once per kingdom.
- In trick contracts, follow the led suit if you can; if not, play any card. The highest card of the led suit wins, unless a trump falls in Tarneeb.
- The owner leads the first trick of every trick contract, and the trick winner leads the next.
- In Trix there are no tricks: lay cards in rows that grow from the jacks, and race to empty your hand.
- After 4 kingdoms, 16 deals in all, the highest total wins.
Kasra contracts at a glance
- Complex: every trick −15, the K♥ −75, each queen −25, each diamond −10 (the Q♦ −35). The deal totals −500 before doubles.
- Tarneeb: the owner names trump, then leads. Every trick won scores +10, so the deal hands out +130.
- Tarneeb play: follow suit if you can. A player who can't may trump or throw any card; trumping is never forced. The highest trump wins.
- Last two tricks (Ltoosh): tricks 1 to 11 cost nothing. The 12th trick costs −60 and the 13th −70.
- Trix: each suit's row starts with its jack and grows up Q, K, A and down 10 to 2. You must lay a card if you can. Out first +200, second +150, third +100, last +50.
- Doubling exists only in Complex: show the K♥ or a queen before the first lead. Its taker loses −150 or −50, and the doubler gains +75 or +25 if another player took it.
- Without doubles, a whole kingdom adds up to 0: −500, +130, −130 and +500.

Tips to win at Kasra
- Pick the contract for the hand: a long suit with top cards is made for Tarneeb, jacks and middle cards favour Trix, and low cards in every suit are the time for Complex.
- In the last-two contract, tricks 1 to 11 are free: shed your high cards early and keep low ones for the end.
- In Tarneeb, name the suit where you hold length and top cards, and draw trumps when you hold the master trump.
- In Trix, hold on to a card that blocks a long run of other players' cards, and move the runs that are mostly yours.
- In Complex, duck with the highest card that still loses, and throw the K♥ or queens on someone else's trick.
- In Partner, never throw a penalty card on a trick your partner is winning.

Questions and answers
Is Kasra on Rayoosh free? Is there real money?
It is completely free, with no real money and no betting. You earn Pearls by finishing place, and Pearls can never be bought or cashed out.
What are the four contracts in Kasra?
Complex (every penalty at once), Tarneeb (the owner names trump and every trick scores +10), the last two tricks (−60 and −70) and Trix, the race to empty your hand. Each kingdom's owner plays all four, in the order they choose.
Do I have to trump in Kasra's Tarneeb?
No. You must follow suit if you can. If you can't, you may trump or throw any other card.
How does the last-two contract work?
All 13 tricks are played, but only the last two count: whoever takes the 12th trick loses 60, and whoever takes the 13th loses 70.
Can I double in Kasra?
Only in the Complex deal. Before the first lead you may show the K♥ or a queen to double it: whoever takes it loses twice its value, and you gain its plain value if another player (in Partner, the other team) takes it.
How is Kasra different from Trix?
Trix has five contracts per kingdom (King of Hearts, Queens, Diamonds, Ltoosh and Trix), 20 deals in all. Kasra has four, Complex, Tarneeb, the last two tricks and Trix, for 16 deals, and in its Tarneeb your tricks win points instead of losing them.
