Play Mor online with friends, free
Mor is the Syrian and Iraqi cousin of Buraco: two decks and two jokers, four players in two teams, and partners who build together. Jokers and 2s are wild, sets are only of 3s or aces, and melds of 7 cards or more become projects. Run out of cards to take your team's Mor, an 11-card pile, then close the round with a 300 project, or a 200 and one more.

On Rayoosh, Mor is free, with no money and no betting. Play 2 vs 2 or 1 vs 1, let computer players fill the empty seats, and earn Pearls by finishing place; Pearls can never be bought or cashed out. Rayan's short How to play lesson covers the wilds, taking the pile, projects, the Mor and closing, and a private table brings your friends in with one link.
How to play Mor
- Two 52-card decks plus 2 jokers: 106 cards. Everyone gets 11 cards; the player after the dealer gets 12 and starts by throwing one, with no draw. Two face-down piles of 11, the Mors, wait beside the stock.
- Play goes counter-clockwise. On your turn, draw one card from the stock, or take the whole discard pile: only when your team already has a meld down and a card in the pile can be laid at once. Your next lay-down must use one of those cards.
- Lay down melds for your team and add to your team's melds, never to the opponents'. Then throw one card to end your turn.
- Melds are runs (3 or more cards of one suit in a row; the ace goes low or high, never in the middle) or sets of 3s or aces only, where suits may repeat.
- Jokers and 2s are wild: a meld may hold at most one joker and one wild 2. A wild never moves to another meld, and a 2 in its own spot of its suit counts as a natural card.
- Run out of cards and your team takes its Mor. Lay your last card on a meld and you take it at once and play on; throw your last card and you take it at the start of your next turn. Each team takes one.
- Close the round by throwing your last card once your team has its Mor and a 300 project, or a 200 project plus another project.
- If the stock runs out, the round ends with nobody closing. The first team to reach the target wins: 201 in a Full game, 101 in Quick.
Mor projects and scoring at a glance
- A project is a meld of 7 or more cards: a clean run is a 200, a run with a wild a 100, seven or more 3s or aces a 300, and the same with a wild a 150.
- If a run's 2 drops back into its own spot, its 100 becomes a 200.
- To close you need a 300, or a 200 plus any other project. Three 100s or two 150s are not enough.
- Scores are kept in tenths: a project adds a tenth of its name, so a 300 adds 30 and a 200 adds 20.
- Card values: 3 to 6 are worth ½, 7 to King 1, and the ace, joker and 2 are worth 1½. Cards in your team's melds count for you; cards left in both partners' hands count against you.
- Closing the round: +10. A team that never took its Mor: −10.
- Both teams over the target in the same round: the higher total wins; a tie plays one more round.
Mor in Rayoosh
- 2 vs 2 with your partner opposite, or 1 vs 1 with the same rules.
- Quick: first team to 101, about 20 minutes. Full: first to 201, about 35 minutes.
- Pearls by finishing place: 50 each for the winners of a Quick game and 80 for a Full game, plus a big-win bonus for winning by 80 or more. Never bought, never cashed out.
- Each team's project meter shows where you stand, such as 200 + 100 ✓, or that you still need a 300. Every project carries a ribbon with its value.
- The pile lights up only when you may take it, and tapping it otherwise tells you why. Once you take it, a Lay it now button plays a move that uses one of its cards.
- Works on phones, tablets, computers and TVs with a remote, in Arabic, English and Hindi.
Tips to win at Mor
- Keep 3s and aces together: seven of a kind make a 300, the quickest way to close.
- Build long runs in one suit and keep them clean while you can: a clean run of 7 is a 200.
- Once your team has a 200, any second project lets you close, even a 100.
- Get a meld down early: until your team has one, you can't take the pile.
- Plan your Mor: lay your last card on a team meld to take it at once and keep playing; throwing it makes you wait a turn.
- Never throw a wild, or a card that fits an opponent's meld.

Questions and answers
Is Mor on Rayoosh free? Is there real money?
It is completely free, with no real money and no betting. You earn Pearls by finishing place, and Pearls can never be bought or cashed out.
What is the Mor?
Each team has an 11-card pile set aside face down. When a player runs out of cards, their team takes its Mor: at once if the last card was laid on the table, or at the start of their next turn if it was thrown. A team that never takes its Mor loses 10.
What counts as a project in Mor?
Any meld of 7 or more cards. A clean run is a 200, a run with a wild is a 100, seven 3s or seven aces are a 300, or a 150 with a wild.
When can I close in Mor?
When your team has taken its Mor and holds a 300 project, or a 200 project plus at least one more. You close by throwing your last card, and your team scores 10 for it.
When can I take the discard pile?
Only when your team already has a meld on the table and a card in the pile can be used at once. You take the whole pile, and your next lay-down must include one of its cards.
How is Mor different from Buraco?
Mor has jokers as well as wild 2s, sets only of 3s or aces, a stricter rule for taking the pile, and needs projects worth 300 to close. In Buraco one canasta and the morto are enough. Rayoosh has both games.
